Scotch Treats


I thought I would share a super quick and easy treat that is a favorite in our home. My hubby LOVES them. I have also made them many times for coffee time at church and other events because they are good for those who prefer not to have gluten. I have had this recipe for years and try and keep all the ingredients on hand all the time in case I get surprise company or need something fast to satisfy a sweet tooth ~smile~

Scotch Treats

3 cups Rice Krispies (or similar)
1 cup Butterscotch Chips
1/2 cup Peanut Butter

Put Rice Krispies in a medium bowl.
Heat Butterscotch Chips and Peanut butter in a small pot. Stir until smooth amd melted.
Pour mixture over Rice Krispies
Stir well and pour into a buttered 8x8 square pan.
Cool in the refrigerator until firm.
Cut into squares and enjoy!

So quick, so easy and super yummy!
