We were so blessed to be able to watch church live streamed this morning. It is definitely not the same and I dearly miss our church family but again we are so grateful to still be able to partake in a service even if it is only online.
The Pastor gave 3 reasons Good Friday is good and it really touched me. Good Friday is good because we are not. Jesus came and died for us while we were yet sinners. It is good because He took our place. He paid the price for sin we should have paid and it is good because He rose again. Friday is here but Sunday is coming! Praise the Lord!
We were able to celebrate communion together with our grape juice and crackers. It was still such a special time perhaps even more so given the difficult days we are all going through right now. Drawing close to our Saviour and remembering what He did for us just makes me want cry. He is so very good and I love Him so much.
After church we had some lunch then went for a long family walk.
Now I am getting ready for supper and tidying up.
It has been a good day.
